Photographer’s Note

I return to TE with hot steam at Krafla, near Mývatn, Northern Iceland.
This landscape keep amaze me time and time again. I never get tired of it. The colors, the mystique, the neverending sky, the sounds of the very much alive earth, the changing nature (a whole glacier lake was gone when I visited this summer, and it was very much there the last time, amazing). I just have to move to Iceland someday. This is from my recent trip to Icleand in the summer of 2007.

Oh Frida how excellent POV.
Earth colors are warm and wonderful.
A detail picture very well given.
Iceland should be an extra ordinaire and marvelus place. Should be the joy for a good photagrapher like you are, as I've notice traveling through your gallery.

I like the way you composed it to have the steam perfect in the frame,a good rotation of camera.
good result in point of the colors and contrast,too,and also I like the cloudy weather here that is a good texture for the photo,Thanks,

My compliments. You chose an original pov for this one, I love that tilt, it gives a special dynamic to the steam. The colors are superb, the grey menacing sky too, very natural, good work! You were there at what time in July ? (was there too:-)

Good capture while adding rust colored surround and white steam under dark, cloudy sky. Excellent details and clever effect turning the frame. Congratulations.

Iceland is on my short list of places to visit for it's geology. You captured some really cool colors and I like the way you composed this. Great job!
