Photographer’s Note
An image took the past sunday on the beach of Camogli.
Just cropped, light, colours and tilt are the original one.
Two couples on the beach, i heard them talk with a deep accent of Genova, so i can imagine that for them it was more or less a daily life situation.
It was the lunch time and as us, they were eating some focaccia (is a flat oven-baked Italian bread, which may be topped with onions, herbs or other foodstuffs, typicall of Liguria) on the beach, under the sun, talking and reading a book.
What a wonderful way to spent the lunch time!

Bonjour, Paolo,

Hello Paolo.
You have some courage to present such a tilted shot, but the grey-stone beach foreground, and the inclusion of the two couples, makes it work well. I like the fact that one couple seem to be having a disagreement and the other to be in love! And of course the colours! Very nicely done, congratulations.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Paolo,
Nice experimental picture through the tilt fronts in background.
But the couples in foreground his the real eye catcher through the expression of the faces and moving of the hands of both men.
Composition and colours are very nice.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
John.

Well done, Paolo, really great framing with these two couples on the beach placed in different corners of the frame... the tilt helps frame the whole scene... there are just a bit too much pebbles to my liking, maybe some crop from the bottom would do...
Cheers

Ciao Paolo, this is an excellent picture, i do love the tilt you used here and the proportions of foreground against background. Between them two couples separated by "occidental distance".
Full of color and italian spirit, beautiful
PS : very intersting match to follow the next one between inter and arsenal !

Hello Paolo,
I don't know why, but I can't seem to get the hang of this type of "tilted" composition. When it works it creates some very striking and provactative images, like the one that you created here. I like the way that the textures of the grey rocks contrast against the linear and colorful buildings in the background. The two couples talking to each other on opposite sides of the frame creates surperb composition. Excellent work!

Hi Paolo
The composition here is excellent with the 2 couples nicely spaced and having the colourful buildings in the background and the stones in the foreground. Your low pov and tilt really add to the dynamics.

will the weather be that good when i am in milan paolo?... may be we could meet one noon to talk about this and that, take some pictures and have focaccia together:) (or do we have to go to liguria to do that?)...
this is a beautiful tilted compo with all the good italian elements of life, typical architecture, mediterranean sun, talkative people, the relaxed mood... it seems like la vita e bella over there:P...
ciao... korkut

Ciao Stefano

Hi Paolo!
Mediterranean winter at its best! I wish I could sit on that beach with this beautiful, typical Italian architectural background. Very nice capture with a very well chosen, low and tilted POV.
Cheers
Andreas
