Cute portrait like the sunshine, indeed!
The blur of the background at a wide aperture is very cool. I really like this composition and beautiful color.
I am surprised a little that the critique is a little despite a very excellent photo.

You certainly have your way to become a professional photographer as the DOF and the sharpness is so excellent in this photo. What amazed me is at 1/40s shutter speed your picture comes out to be so sharp! Good one.
