Just before visiting Crater Lake, we stopped for the night to sleep at Diamond Lake.
It was just a stop before the main attraction (located few miles to the south).
At first it seemed like a boring place, but walking near the lake at evening it was a different story. Found few groups of kids preparing for bonfire with jokes, stories and a guitar. This brought some good memories, as I remember participating in such events in the far pastÖ
I adjusted the curves and levels to make a more dramatic color of the sky and lake.
It was not fully dark yet, so I was able to capture the moon with out a tripod.
Exposure was a bit long but I took several shots to ensure at least one of them will not be blurry. I only wish that the moon was a bit bigger and to the right Ė but didnít want to play with the picture to fix it.

A very nice combination, the "dark" landscape and the romantic fire in good colours and of course the moon. Nice done, Efi !

Very romantic. A moon, a lake, a beach and a fire place. Wow, so many attributes. Very good composition.

I enjoy the fact youve compared two main elements here, water and fire. Looks like you had a real good night.

Fantastic photo, I like the contrast and that each element fire, water, earth and sky occupies so distinctly its own space on the picture!
