Photographer’s Note
Ruins at Silverton, New South Wales.
The sunset brought out the beautiful colours in the old walls.

Howdy Greg!
Amazing window. Wonderful frame. Original background. Very fine effect.

Hi Greg.
This must be way out west. The exposure was really good, and the colour of the old wall parallels that of the eartth on the other side. Maybe the effect would be even stronger if the window were a little off centre. Still, it has wonderful colour and lighting and the window makes a great frame.

Hello Greg
The contrast between the wall and the sky is beautiful. Magnificient natural frame. The sky through the hole in the wall above the window looks striking and the crack in the wall running from the top creates the character of the shot.
Good work

Beautiful picture Greg!
You managed very well to deal with part of the picture in the sun and other part in the shade.
Good POV, good colours, good contrast: all good!

wow... brilliant colours, great 'framing'... mmm, I'm not sure that you'd say that you've framed a picture here, I think the 'frame' is the photo, and the scenery is, in a way, the frame... perhaps?!
Regardless... awesome photo,
THANK YOU

Hi Greg,
Have been looking at your portfolio. You have lovely photos there. I especially loved this one for the warm tones, the light and shadow, the way the view is naturally framed. Very artistic! You have a good eye. (and a good sense of humour I should add, by lookign atthe titles of some of your photos.)
Best,
Petek
