Bonjour Mark

Je ne connais pas du tout cette cité fortifiée, mais les remparts doivent être vraiment magnifiques.
Le cadrage que tu as choisi rend hommage à ces vieilles pierres, et rend bien compte de la complexe architecture, si impressionnante.
La lumière est superbe et fait ressortir les couleurs naturelles des pavés.
Une très belle réalisation, d'une parfaite qualité.

Das sind Mauern! Carcassonne muss eine sehr wehrhafte Stadt gewesen sein, was Dein Foto hervorragend zeigt - unterstützt durch den tiefen Standort des Fotografen. Gut, dass die Besucher dort einen Maßstab darstellen. Ein beeindruckender Anblick!

Bonjour Mark,
C'est une vue originale de La Cité que l'on a peu l'habitude de voir. C'est bien composé avec d'importants volumes occupant l'espace sans cependant l'alourdir et/ou le surcharger. L'architecture est bien mise en valeur par le traitement rigoureux des différentes diagonales, parallèles et autres lignes.
A bientôt sur TE pour de nouvelles aventures.

quel ciel bleu tu as bénéficié une lumiére extra pour faire une photo avec une belle netteté et couleur,ton cadrage est calculé a un poil prés et c'est dommage que tu coupes la porte a droite, mais ca reste un super travail

Une très belle vue bien composée de cette partie de Carcassone ! J'aime beaucoup la petite rue qui monte vers ce porche et les tours que l'on aperçoit dans le haute de l'image ! Les personnes sont un plus qui apporte ce qu'il faut de vie dans l'image !

Hello Mark,

You lead us very well through the entrance nice to the gate of this lovely fortress.
I like the structure of this old building, this all in French white stones, but you did excellent addition the peoples in the gate, nice for the scale.

Hi, Mark. You have composed your image very well. There is an upward progression towards the tower starting in the left corner with the wall that we follow to the arch and then higher up. The people walking down give the scale of the building while the green grass and the blue sky contrast with the stone of the castle.

Une belle et lumineuse vue sur les remparts de cette ville fortifiée. Tu as du de régaler lors de ta visite et en plus à cette époque je suppose qu'il n'y avait pas trop monde. Ce merveilleux ciel bleu donne un bon relief à l'architecture. jolie et intéressante photo.

Mark, j'aime le soin que tu as pris pour trouver exactement le bon POV. Tout est juste dans cette composition depuis le premier plan avec l'ombre du mur qui amène le regard à la porte jusqu'aux tours et autres donjons sur un beau ciel bleu. Les visiteurs qu'on peut apercevoir sous l'arche de la porte sont du meilleur effet.

Carcassone is to France what San Gimignano is to Italy (and York to England ?), the medieval masterpiece, we can see here on your pciture, so many nice architectural elements, great picture quality as usual, I wish you had a bit of a wider angle though, especially on the left side, or a stitch of two as an alternative.

Ah, le charme des vieilles pierres ! Le cadrage choisi respecte ici l'architecture verticale des tours et donjons qui se détachent sur fond de ciel bleu intense. L'ensemble baigné de lumière laisse apparaître de nombreux détails. Une belle contre-plongée qui donne fière allure à cette cité fortifiée qui a traversé les siècles.

Well composed, with the perspective of the path leading us to the right where from the gate, the path turns left onto the castle. The people are well placed just underneath the arch of the gate. Very good work has a great light and a few vivid colours.
