Another chilly scene from Lachung in North Sikkim. The village was bathed in snow and provided some exciting moments for us. Hope everyone enjoy this shot.
I was in two minds regarding that overhead electric wire. Wanted to stamp it out but kept it to justify the lamp post in the far end. It is very difficult to photographh in Sikkim with wires going everywhere. A few of my best shots got ruined by them. However I was thankful to them here, but for those wires the freezed water could never be heated and we would have had to do things not natural to us. |

Hello Suman,
This one is also great contribution from you.Love to see this view. Don't worry.. the wire isn't disturbing much here.

Hi Suman,
This is a lovely shot!!Absolutely wonderful shot. I loved the way the fog predominates the shot. I didnt get snow in Lachung, but plenty in Yumthang last March. It must be pretty bad out there. The blue tones here work well.
Regarding the wire I can say that if its there , let it be there. Thats natural, and dont let teechnical stuffs take an upper hand on natural photography. The wire is not distarcting.
Good shot.
Regards,
Sagarneel.
