Photographer’s Note
They where the fashion footwear for summer of 07 in Portugal. Made by rubber they are easy to wash and resisting to salt water. We saw them every where.
I took this photo at february this year, seems to me this style will survive another summer.

A nice composition, which somehow summarizes the idea of summer. A pair of shoes left on the beach, while the owner is having a swim. Simple but nice.

Very nice photo! The blue shoes are a colorful breakup of the texture of the wet, sands and their sharpness sticks out the soft color of the beach.
