Ciao Silvio.
Come scattare una bella foto in un'ora poco indicata, col sole alto. Ci sei riuscito, solo pagando lo scotto di un cielo "digitale" un po' sovraesposto. Ah, i cieli delle Ektachrome e Kodachrome! Quanto al polarizzatore, se anche sia nel tuo corredo, non era il caso di usarlo, avrebbe aumentato il contrasto che è già al limite.

Congratulations on your 500th post, that is quite a milestone!
This is a great landscape photo with an added attraction, the poppies. The flowers add a nice splash of color to the shot as well as providing some nice points of interest in the foreground. The sharpness and DOF are outstanding as is the lighting and color.

The view is truly stunning, the green, the red, the yellow all matching, all coming together. Its wild how open this place is. I would have enjoyed it a lot more knowing how it would feeling being in such a magical place.

questa è una delle più belle della serie-Castelluccio secondo me. I colori sono accecanti, il cielo bellissimo, le luci fantastiche. Ottimo anch il pov e la composizione con uno scorcio insolito.

Non conosco un'altro membro di TE que può trovare tante diverse fotografie magnifiche della stessa città, della stessa regione, dello stesso posto. Quest'altro paesaggio di Perugia con i "cinquecento" papaveri en primo piano e le linee dolci delle colline nel fondo, contro il cielo azzurro , è bellissimo!
In fatto, penso che cisono al meno mille papaveri!

Hello Silvio! What a huge bed of ... poppies, and what gift to give away for us. This is so beautiful with the smooth green hills in the back and this huge field of red. Wonderful image for the Valentine's day Silvio, but apart from this beauuuuutiful landscape, what really calls my attention, is the separation in stripes that you have made...one for the blue of the sky; two for the green of the fields; and three for the red of the poppies...absolutely fascinating my friend :P
