Photographer’s Note
This was taken on the way to Yumesamdong. I was sitting in the front seat of the car, when I looked out of the windshield and saw this. I wondered what if I got lost here and never had to return to the lab and mundane things! The himalayan mountains sure must be a good place to get lost...

Hello shaeri,
A place surely, rates among the highest to get lost..!! good POV and I liked the clouds very much here...gives a feeling of going into the unknown..!! I would still prefer to just get off the vehicle and start walking by the right side of the image..I can see a small path in the distance and thats enough for me to call it a trail..exploring every beauty nature has to offer..!!
I find the image just a bit soft..wat do u say..??
good one..!!

The shot is naturely so beautiful that you are right in saying that you can get lost. The polarizer filter has cut through the glass and therefore you have not missed much. Regards, Balwant

Ahhhh, Shaeri,
you don't even know how inviting that looks (AND the thought of getting lost there). That nice curving road leading in, those wonderful colors, all that space. That beautifully cloudy sky hugging the mountain tops. What a marvelous view and a great place to dream about. Many thanks and warmest regards,

Hi Shaeri
Very nice colours and nice POV. I just wish I could see a little more detail on the right mountainside. maybe try the dodging tool in PS to lighten it up a tad. Is that a waterfall up there?

Hi Shaeri,
Your Sikkim series caused many people to get lost in thoughts of great Himalaya (I am happy that I am one of them). Himalaya is not just a beautiful range of mountains but it mean a lot for those who love to see world from a different point of view. For ages, Himalaya happened to be a guiding source for seekers of spiritual upliftment. I believe Himalaya is my real home and some day(may be in this or next birth)... anyway leave it.
I love the composition of your shot and deceptive clouds are real beauty here. A bit soft as Indranill said in his comment. Overall a great shot.

Hi Shaeri,
To survive in the wild , speilly in altitude you need some special resilience!! The rich autumn colors contrast well with that piece of blue sky.. sharp details and a good framing/POV.
That doesnt seem to be a busy road!

Hi Shaeri,
Beautiful alpine autumn scene wonderfully captured. The rugged terrain and the rustic autumn colors made this scene just spectacular. I like the way you positioned the road ... leads ones view towards the mountains. Well captured and composed with very good image quality. Excellent work! tfs

Hi, Shaeri. You've created a good perspective here with the road leading into the picture. I also like the diversity of colours on the side of the road and the blue sky we can see above the pass, which makes a good contrast with the clouds on the sides.

Hi Shaeri,
Another clever use of the lines and shapes of the landscape, light and sky to produce a very attractive, powerful image. The grass and bushes make a wonderful palette.
Bravo!

Hello Shaeri
Good that your car had a clear windscreen. The road in front has been used well for perspective & depth. But yes, the main draw are the clouds & how they create the pattern of light & shadows on the slopes. The slice of blue sky does help to create a wonderful transient scene. Well done!
Best Wishes

Hello Shaeri,
adding the fresh air and the silence to the landscape - not the worst place to get lost. A life free of stress and close to the nature (and the heaven!) seems to be guaranted here.

it is a nice view, the road crossing the valley and trying to reach the open space between 2 mountains. It would be interesting if there was a people or animal in the road too.

Hello Shaeri,
To be lost in the Himalaya... Hehe! At least you would enjoy your death...
A beautiful photo, anyway. The colours are superb, I really like the road as the part of the composition and the high mountains. At firts I though that there were hidden villages among them.
TFS!

hi shaeri
this is so interesting. frankly speaking i have never seen a mix of colour and ruggedness. i mean, its a mix of spring and winter. the plants alongside the road making up to the strong mountains is so different. should i say, beauty and the beast? thanks for sharing...
