Hi Manuel, this is an excellent portrait shot. Great sharpness - every crease of the green turban and on his face is clearly visible - and good colour in the green turban and blue clothing. The joys of smoking... Well done!

My word, Manny,
what IS he smoking? Whatever it is you have caught it, and him, perfectly. I cannot believe the details I see in this shot. The veins in his eye, the wear in the fabric of his turban, the stains on his fingernails. Absolutely flawless. My greatest respect and warm wishes,
Shelly

A compelling portrait like only you have the secret. You know how to find a good subject and to enter in its intimacy without disturbing the moment.
Colours are rich and deep, details are fabulous and the composition is brilliant.

Dear Manuel,
I am deeply impressed by this shot, maybe because of his eyes, maybe smoke, maybe deep lines on his face ( I don't know exact translation of this word-I hope you can understand me )...
A wonderful portrait,
Congrats

Hi Manuel,
Very sharp and nice portrait of Man from India...
The eyes tells the rest ...
For all those who are not from India the man is smoking Beedi..
Some information about the Tobacco usage in India:
"Tobacco is extremely important and relevant in India as almost 30 million people depend on tobacco for their livelihood. Tobacco harvesting and curing, beedi rolling and tendu leaf trade provide employment and livelihood to the poorest of the poor. Tobacco is
grown on about 0.3% of arable land in India, mostly in rainfed areas where returns to farmers from other crops are much lower. India is the third largest producer of tobacco in the world.
Beedi smoking is the most prevalent form of tobacco use among smokers in India whereas cigarettes account for almost 90% of all tobacco use worldwide. In India, Beedis account for 54% and cigarettes, 19% only. The balance 27% is used by chewing tobacco
and Gutka."

Hello Manuel
A good choice of vertical format for this man smoking a beedie and it seems he is looking in two direction. Love the tight framing which gives more impact to the beautiful model with its green turban. Nice colors and textures too!
