If I may borrow a quote from another member (MLINES)profile;" Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the places and moments that take our breath away ". Anon
Cars in front not allowing us to rush, cars behind encouraging us to feel rushed. We expend most of the precious few moments of our hurried life focused on what's ahead or too worried about what's behind to realize that life is about exploring where we are.
Photography provides tangible memory that we can manipulate and share. It allows us to travel back and realize we should be intent on basking in the present.
This photo was taken as we rushed down a breathtaking road in North Carolina in way too much of a hurry to get somewhere we really didn't want to be anyway. |
