Hello,
this picture is part of the short travelogue on Nozeroy fortified village.

Still in Mièges, close to nozery. The last post presented the hermitage, here is the church on the village. very unusual tower for the region. A little like english style.

No pp here.

Tu publie plus vite que je ne critique!
J'aime beaucoup la sobriété de cette église avec la corolle de nuage qui lui donne un air de sainteté:-). J'ai pas compris le rapport à l'Angleterre mais c'est les vacances et j'ai mis mon cerveau en veille!

An excellent view from low POV while adding this wonderful facade to your frame. I like your view and great contrasts between facade and sky a lot.

The low pov sure makes the church be presented in an almost majestetic way JM. Backed by the blue sky the building is well presented as here.

Salut Jean-Marc,
I wouldn't call it pretty, but it's not your fault that the church is kind of ugly with all its excessive weight. But it is a very effective image, with the low POV making justice to its imposing majesty. The sharpness and light are remarkable. A post full of the TE spirit, showing what looks like a unique architecture work.
Maybe you could have removed the electric wire.

Nice photo! The POV is great and I also like the light management. The wire doesn't distracts me at all. I think it opens a new dimension in the photo.

Bonsoir, Jean-Marc,
Il est vrai que l'architecture s'apparente au style anglais (l'on retrouve beaucoup ce genre d'église au Canada, notamment au Québec).
Très bonne présentation eu égard à l'implantation de l'édifice et du manque de recul.
Très intéressante prise de vue. C'est bien la première fois que je vois une église en France de ce genre.

realy good composition, I like it. You have good light here, very nice sky and in this angle the architecture seems realy well.
