The images on the pieces of glass are very vividly captured. I like the entire composition and the sharpness of the colours and textures. Good overall concept. Lovely interplay between the darkness and colours.

We can really appreciate here the colours of the glass and the figures they depict together, without any disturbance of any other thing. Very good work. Was it a sunny day or an overcast one when you took this picture?

Hi Lars,

I must admitt seeing windows like this usually associates me of my visit to a church as a child. And I didn't like that because everything was so big and strange with so many faces I could not understand. Today I look at them completely different, I understand the effort of artists, their knowledge and circumstances they were working on. You manage to captured it excellently with great light balance and with all detailes perfectly seen. A window of heavenly colours.: :)

Wow, superb capture of this stained glass window, Lars. It remembers me the recent post of Papagolf. Impressive details in a sharp image and stunning bright colors. I thought this was from the Sainte Chapelle church in the Ile de La Cité, but this roman and not gothic. Congratulations for this excellent result.

Nice stained glass here with vivid colors and sharp details. I like how the BG is pitch black, it makes the small bits on top pop out of the screen.

Excellent colors and sharpness. Difficult to identify the different characters (the one on the left has a crown: St Louis?). I suppose the legends in latin on the banniers could be usefull, but it is a bit small to be read here despite the sharpness.

U heeft zicht even gewaagd aan het fotograferen van 'brandglas' zoals men dit in Vlaanderen noemt.
Maar uw eerste foto is zeker geslaagd, want uit ervaring weet ik hoe moelijk het licht soms is, en altijd de grote afstanden.
De kleuren zijn goed ook de samenstelling, misschien kon u het verticale perspectief gecorrigeerd hebben, maar dit is pinust tegenover de kwaliteit.

What vibrant colors, in this simple, but elegant composition. You have put your new camera to very good use. The sharpness allows us to read the scrolls, even with a 204kb image. As usual, the accompanying note is very helpful. The Church itself is more important than the particular stained glass window.

Of course it's impossible to adjust perspective while taking the picture unless floating in the air in a higher position :)
