Fresh snow on the mountains and the sun bursts through the clouds to bring these sultry shadows on the undulating snow banks. Winter perfection!
Note the cross-country ski trail on the far left. Exhileration is skiing through scenery like this and having remembered to bring the camera!

Hi John,
It's a wonderful, winter wonderland.....the snow looks so soft and sticky...hides everything around it including the fir trees. You're right...the amazing part to this image is the smooth undulating foreground which is dissected by those lovely soft shadows. Exceptional, well done.

Great winter and nice snow cower. I miss so much such a perfect winter conditions in Poland. I love cross-country skiing but from few winters, except mountains, in Poland it is not enough snow for that.
