Photographer’s Note
I took several photos while sitting in the TGV (HIgh Speed Train) travelling around 300 km/h and I noticed that at such a speed it was almost impossible to avoid catching one of those catenary-posts. They appear tilted by the speed and blurry.
Another effect I find interesting here is that the clouds seem to travel in a different direction.

nice photo, i think the post created a beautiful foreground.
and the speed created a nice effect, the center of the piture is sharp and the rest is blurry, cool!!

Un style Road Movie qui va plaire a certains... Tres chouette
surtout avec ce catenaire. Etant fille de cheminot, j ai passe un certain nombre d'heures dans les trains ... et bien oui, on ne peut s 'y ennuyer, et le defilement du paysage est une sensation inegalee... Bien vu. J 'attends la suite de la serie....Ge

I find that the tones of this picture are amazing: these grey and brown get together so well. I really feel this mood that I am in when I cross those huge fields of center of France while travelling on train. Those moments when you let your soul go.
To me it is one of the only situations where speed is indeed relaxing, not scary.
