Hiking in Marshlands Conservancy in Rye NY

Marshlands Conservancy is a 173-acre wildlife sanctuary composed of a diversity of habitats. Forest, meadow, salt marsh and shore can be explored and appreciated here. There are three miles of trails and one-half mile of shoreline along the Long Island Sound. Located along the Atlantic migratory flyway, Marshlands is an excellent birdwatching location; more than 230 species have been sited.
The Marshlands salt marsh is one of few in New York accessible to the public for study and enjoyment.

Hi Angela,
Wonderful depth achieved by the fence post framing the old dirt road that reaches to the distant woods. Good lighting renders clear colors and excellent sharpness to this fine country image.

Hi Angela,

it's such a nice perspective. The image brings some kind of sad feeling but at the same time it's vivid and lightened. I like to see the path leading our eyes to "somewhere". I can think thousands of stories for this nice composition. Very good work!

I like your framing and the point of view. The fence brings my eyes at the end of the path far away. The colours are very nice.
