This is Volterra at the end of Autumn. The day is ending and she is basking in the final rays of the day's sunlight. The people in Volterra are watching a wonderful sunset that is behind me as I took this shot. My wife and I had a wonderful day here and I would recommend it over San Gimingnano if you want somewhere with plenty of character but not as many tour groups.
