Photographer’s Note
One evening near sunset, when I was strolling with my camera at the banks of Dal lake in Srinagar- one of the most scenic part of India, I found a small patch of cloud just above the Sunrays coming out from behind the trees. I thought of taking this picture, but there was nothing in the foreground except reflections on water. So I decided to wait a bit keeping an eye on the sunset. luckily I saw a small tourist boat called Shikara coming from left- which made this picture a perfect shot.

This is a very good shot Arvind. Patience does pay off. I like the original better. I see a lot of jpeg artefacts in the WS image as a result of oversharpening. Well done Arvind and thanks for sharing.

wonderful, wonderful, the cloud and the soft light - shikara on the Dal lake is classic but it does not make it less interesting picture.

What I prefer here is the soft coloring tone perfectly fitting the sunset. The subject is centered frezing it to a serene moment, a litlle bit more left or right would make it dynamic.

Ce cliché très graphique à comme qualité de situer immédiatement l'action avec un minimum d'élémént, c'est pourquoi il me plait.
