Getting High At the Library Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken outside the public library in downtown Houston of a man smoking a joint. This is in a very crowded area and even policemen are walking by not paying attention. In big cities like Houston, police are more likely to concern themselves with real crimes (violence, etc). His smoking isn't hurting anyone so why bother him! The sculpture behind him is what I was standing behind when I took the last picture that I posted of downtown. (Geometric Mouse X by Claes Oldenburg).

Hey Tanja,

Nice focus and blurred in the background, well saturated colors, his skin is nicely pronounced, a fine cadre. I wonder how you got him to pose with that joint in his hand. :>
