Photographer’s Note
26th January, Australia Day, a long weekend this year meant that everyone would be out and about. My wife and I decided to drive to Adelaide from Melbourne, to make the trip exciting and not wanting to go and come back the same way we decided to take the ferry across the Port Phillip Bay which runs between Sorrento and Queenscliff.
It was a beautiful foggy morning, we managed to get on the first ferry of the morning at 7AM and as soon as we got on to it, we made our way straight to the deck. The view was quite nice, we saw boats all around.
This lone boat looked very interesting and the boats in the distance covered in fog added to the drama of the whole scene. I was looking and thinking, as soon as the sun comes out completely they are going to have a long day in the ocean and a long weekend ahead of them indeed.
Hope you like it.

Hi Kamran,
great composition of one small boat confronting a group of others in hazy distance. Great colour work of blue/grayish ambient and a red spot leading a look to this small boat. Simple but very well balanced and most pleasing capture.
Kind regards,
Jeri

Hi Kamran,
Oeh, you have to look really really careful to actually distinguish the little boats in the distance, laying there silently in the fog. Nice touch. And this was taken from a moving ferry? Zoomed in a bit I guess, since there are no waves visible. What were the camera settings for this one? Anyhow, nice one!

Hello Kamran! There is not much :) but I like it. Well chosen the boat in the corner and otherwise a lot of "nothing" and somewhere in the fog a few sailing boats we can see or at least we try to see them. So it is not only us lowlanders standing in the fog but also some Australians sharing the white. Good work, Barbara.

Nice composition, very calming to the soul. If I were you, lose the clunky frame and leave it as it is.

Hi Kamran, I missed this one when you posted it, but came across it looking at how others did at Sorrento. I like this one a lot. Both the idea and execution are good. That the boat had a red bouy is lucky, but it would have been good to see slightly more of the other boats - out of your control of course. Cheers, Steve

Salam Kamran...!
This is the picture in your gallery with quite unusual putting.I really liked how you've placed ship in your frame.Reflection, clarity everything is A1.
The slight diffused/foggy appearance of water (in the middle) makes this shot more mysterious. Its a good package.
(Best of luck for future and TFS)
