Photographer’s Note

We were fishing in about 6 metres of water on a 40 degree day. The water was so clear, the sea so calm.
The squid were on but not much else. it's days like these you remember though.

I know exactally what you mean by these sort of days. Still waters, clear sky and the laid back atmosphere. Freshly caught squid smelling up the car boot but rewarding when they are cooked the next day fresh. Cool deep water for swimming, and spending half the night worrying about having to go back to daily routine the next day.

It's days like those one cannot forget. I like the photo, it shows Second Valley perhaps my favourite place in SA apart from KI and the Limestone Coast.
