I love the way the water turns and twists and swirls through the terrain. The colours are superbly soft and the composition is well and neatly balanced. good work

Hello Tony,

Thank you for the kind dedication. I love this shot, I believe this was taken from the footbridge that goes over the water. I remember how loud it was! The water in this area was the most beautiful I have ever seen, it looked like crushed blue ice. The saturations are rich, but realistic. The sky might be a little bright, but it I understand how difficult it was to effectively expose both the water and sky simultaneously (none of my shots turned out this well). I might post a workshop of one of my photos tonight. It certainly is a magical place.

Huka means 'Great body of spray' in Maori; quite aptly named.

I consider that it is a beautiful landscape, very natural, as everything that samples of New Zealand.

It breathes nature, clean air. Causes sitting to see the river and enjoy the intense green, the noise of the river.

Hello tony,
good sharpness and nice colours as always. The well balanced composition is praisworthy: the right green zone is in equilibrium with the left green part, the blue sky with the blue water and all the four zones have a single turning point.

I have spent half of my evening for studiing the map of New Zealand in order to find the places of your pictures. What if you would go to my account > manage > edit option at this picture and write in following coordinates: -38.604 (Lat) 176.188 (Lon)? Google Earth has excellent, high resolution satellite pictures from NZ, much better than from Hungary, make use of them!

On the thumbnail this looks overexposed .. but here in person I think the exposure is fine .. the colors are so vibrant .. beautiful turquoise waters framed in these greens .. wonderful dimension .. beautiful place .. very nice.

What amazing water’s blue tones and the forest’s green ones. The PoV is well chosen in order to have the most of water's route in front of us. Very nice place, wonderful nature!

Hi Tony,
I have had pretty much gone far and wide and I have never seen a flowing body of water, this green and blue. Beside the texture or quality of the water, the cascading falls or rapids make this section appearing more interesting. And also an invitation for a walk in the forest. You are lucky and a Godsend, you are in New Zealand. So much to see, so much to paint.
