Photographer’s Note
This is an HDR combination taken after a heavy rain with cloudy conditions. This type of lighting seems perfect for HDR shots using the original exposure and 1/2 stop and 1 stop darker.

Hi Roger,
good one, The composition with the diagonal lines and square areas remind me of some modern paintings. The HDR effect I cannot see, because I don´t have the original photos. I thought, the scope of HDR is too get the details both in very dark and very lit areas. When there is rain, there are not so big differences.
Cheers Christian

The colors are all so vibrant, I can't seem to take my eyes off the photo!
I love the way you cropped it as well.
Compliments,

Hello Roger! I love old barns and you always wonder what is inside, a little antiquity maybe or and old car, like in your version? Many secrets to be found in old barns when you drive through the States. Our friend in Vermont restores airplanes in his barn and we are always a little bit jealous of all the space you guys have, plenty of room for hobbies. Interesting extract you chose for this one, very compact. Would be nice to have it a little bit bigger in size, "full" version, but it doesn't really matter ... the go west feeling is right there. Good. Have a wonderful Sunday ... looking out for old barns maybe? Barbara.

Hi Roger,
You make very good use of all the lines in different directions here. Your HDR work is also very clever. It looks really good and natural. This could be the light of a cloudy but rather bright day. TFS!
Cheers,
Ulf

Hello Roger,
The old Chevy of course, and I also see parts of an old barn so I suppose this is rural Petaluma!
I like the composition, and the HRD is done like it should be, that is not overdone...
The touch of faded colours tickle my curiousity..!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Roger,
That old barn has a fascinating collection of different textures. Paint, unprocessed wood and rust. And the chevy that doesn't look much newer. I'm not sure about the composition, it's hard to give recommendations on that without possiblity to walk around the place. But I think I'd prefer to see a bit more about the car, so slightly more head-on PoV might be better.
And as the textures are so essential I really would like to see this in bigger size. This just doesn't do justice for details.
