A snapshot of a pier on Pulau Perhentian Besar, taken during a scuba diving trip. I was just experimenting and taking random shots while waiting for the passenger ferry to come and bring us to the mainland.

I think it is an original photo, and I like these experiments, which uses simple objects to turn them into something different, like abstract compositions in this case.
It can maybe be improved, but it is a good start.

Hello Sebastian,
A fine observation and a nice, clean composition. I like the wooden exture and the red piece breaking the pattern.
Regards,
Gert

Very beatufil and paceful photo, we should thank it also to the red piece. The water seems painted, not real.

Hi Sebastian!
Original minimalistic composition. Good picture.
Cheers!

Hi Sebastian,
great random shot & idea. I like the simplicity of the shot. The image of wooden planks & rusty nail heads is definitely Malaysian.

Regards,
Latiff.

A good shot and a fine example of good composition exercise, Sebastian. Good pov here to give a balanced view, half of water in green and the other half of wood texture and lines of gaps.

Simplicity works. Good work.

TFS, bill

Alovely example of abstract simplicity Sebastian. Beautiful colours and textures.
Greetings from Greece
