Photographer’s Note
From the New Mosque. New Mosque is located in the Eminonu district on the Golden Horn. The construction of the mosque started in 1597 with the request of Safiye Sultan, the mother of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed III. It was completed in 1663. The interior is covered with blue and green ceramic tiles, which are one of the best examples of the ceramic tile art of the 17 th century. In the tomb adjacent to the mosque lie Sultan Mehmed IV, his mother Hatice Turhan Sultan and other various members of the Sultan family.

Hey Erkin,
Yet again a nice portrait. I dont know exactly where this is shot (although you`ve put it down in the note) in Istanbul, but the buildings behind the subject are really impressive, well focused, timed and executed.
Enjoy
