Hey Sam, Welcome to TrekEarth.

A fine first picture, nice composition (although the house on the far right is just a tad bit obstructive, but I guess you couldn`t do it without it), good point of view and perspective. Nice colors, sharpness is also OK, but above all a very nice motive.

Nice view of this peaceful beach. I like the point of view and the depth
to me though, the colours are a little flat and there is some haze.

nice work mate, good strong introduction to the trek world. Just make sure you dont do what I did and after a while put pictures on just because there was nothing else to do.
