This bridge spans the Tweed river. At this place, the Tweed river seperates Scotland from England. On the side where the picture was taken, it is Scotland.

If you follow this river, you will arrive to the Floor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in Scotland.

Very fine motif you spotted here Francis - I like the angle you choosen even the bridge did cut an end. The mirrored blured reflections works very well, great sky and colours - thanks - a good job.

Nice view and nice colors. The river looks very peaceful here with its impressionist looking reflection. The boat seems to appear like it could be part of that reflection. It's so calm and tranquil. Very sharp and clear, too. The bridge in its massive appearance is even brought down to a more gentle feel here even as it marches so boldly across the river. It's also neat that the clouds seem to act like a roof to the bridge. Good depth, too. Nice job.

Lovely colors and fine detail Francis in this serene scene. Your point of view allows the eye to move beneath the arches of the bridge and down the river. The empty boat is a nice element as well. Fine job.

Very nice photo Francis - beautiful pastoral view with the calm water and the green all around. Great diagonal composition with the boat, bridge and clouds running parallel to one-other.

This bridge took a lot of man hours and sweat to construct. No power tools were used then. This is a great capture of a beautiful area. Well done, Francis. Colors and clarity are excellent.

Trés joli point de vu avec l'angle choisi qui nous offre une bonne percpective.

Ce pont est superbe et j'ignorais que la Tweed river était la séparation entre l'Ecosse et l'Angleterre. J'aime bien la petite barque en avant plan aussi. Bien vu!

photo très claire avec de beaux couleurs naturels. La symétrie et le perspectif (avec le pont que te mène vers l'arrière-plan) me plaisent aussi. C'est un bel endroit et un pont attrayant. J'aime bien aussi le petit bateau.

Très photogénique ce pont, belle lumière et cadrage réussi, même si je regrette un peu la présence de la barque dans le champ de l'image, bien sur il aurait été difficile de l'éviter :-)

Very nice contrast and color saturation for this one...
The bridge makes a nice diagonal line which is oblique to the river direction and it increases the dynamism of the picture. Superb DOF !
