Hi Geoff,
Welcome to TrekEarth. I am glad to give you first notes.
I like your idea of presenting Annapurna and this typical climate of Nepal. Had you used the polariser the effect could be even more dramatic, emphasising the colours.
Well done,
Kind regards,
Michal

Bonjour Geoff,
Bienvenue sur TE,
Jolie image du "toit du monde" avec de belles couleurs et un beau ciel.
J'aurais préféré par contre un flou sur les drapeaux de prière et l'arrière plan un peu plus nette.
Amitiés.

Hi Geoff,

You have lost out on DOF on this photograph friend.
Judging form the light in the photograph you could have used an aperture of f 22, also you could have done away with the CPL and under exposed by 1 stop, thus you could have got a shot at
f 22/60 giving you the freedom to shoot it at a focal length of 50mm hand held.

There is another thing to remember while shooting a photograph where the subject at infinity and fore ground need to be in focus, Hyper Focal distance.

You have to shoot at manual focus mode. The greatest problem with AF lens is that the barrel does not have a hyperfocal distance marking on it.

Hope I could be of some help.

Looking forward to more pictures of the mountains.

Cheers

Rajib
