Hi Outlaw,
Don't dare to ever return to France after having posted this shot, don't you know it's strongly forbidden to shoot in Paris metro, who knows what could happen, they could imagine you're the new Al Qaeda leader preparing the next wave of terror attack and because in France we have no such convenience as Guantanamo, we could dig out this old thing named guillotine, fix the blades and check out if it is still working... ;-)
That being said I'm against those stupid rules that discriminate photographers against mobile phone snapshotters, I was annoyed in Brussels metro some days ago because I was playing with a compact, would it have been a mobile phone nobody would have dared to say anything... I hope Canon starts to produce mobile phones soon ;-)
Now this is a typical image one can produce with the motion effect of a passing train, and because these advertisements and the station name are so typical of the place you're in trouble my friend...
Have a nice evening while you can, they're after you watch out your surroundings !

l'effet est saisissant
L'arriere plan avec ces petites affichent.. dommage que l'on ne voit pas le T de trocadéro..mais c'est vraiment pour chipoter..

Excellent jeu de mot pour le titre de cette photo très en mouvement. IL faut des fois un peu de chance pour trouver le temps de pose le plus adapté à ce genre de prise de vue.

Ik heb net de reaktie van Jean Yves gelezen en het blijkt dus dat je zwaar in overtreding was :) oei oei . . .

Ik begrijp het beoogde effect van de foto, maar eerlijk gezegd heb ik niet het 'wow' effect . . . ik heb zelfs ergens een gevoel dat het twee foto's zijn, gezien de overgang in het midden, maar dat kan een raar toeval zijn van de structuur van het treinstel zelf. De focus op de posters en de naam van het staion zijn mooi, maar de foto mist spanning. Heb je nog een staande compositie geprobeerd? Wat meer contrast tussen beweging en statische elementen maken het denk ik interessanter.
Mooi theme an een goede toelichting :)

Het resultaat van een voorbij rijdende metrostel.
Ik zou hier niet aan denken, maar dit geeft wel eens een totaal ander resultaat, of dat men gewoon is van een foto.
De snell linen and the verdreven kleuren zorgen voor iets speciaals.

Olá Lars, what a surprise to find that you were in Paris at the same time as me. We could have met! I also see that you managed to take great shots in spite of the not so good weather. I haven't seen mine yet, but I'm impressed with your posts so far. This is a fantastic abstract image with a superb speed efect. Love the fact we can read the ads of the background and your note is quite good. Congratulations for this second experiment.
