Photographer’s Note

A gold jewellery shop at Kuala Lumpur old city centre, and have some others gold jewellery shop around this area. Above the gold jewellery shop, is a chinese pawnshop at first floor. Still have a little old chinese people taking mortgage loan in this pawnshop.

Very good to see the big contrast between the modern and old buildings in the area together!

Hello Ally,

Interesting mixture of new and old architecture. The little pawn shop does seem a bit rundown but its does create a nice contrast against the modern buildings in the background. Nice shot Ally.

This is completely different from my photographic style. I can see a huge contrast between the old buildings in the foreground and the skyscrapers in the background. You captured natural and good looking colors! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Ally

You have contintued with your normal photography interest on architecture and buildings and this one displays the old colonial shophouse still retaining its original form whereas the next unit has been facelifted.

It may well be that this shopowner has kept it for generations to do this jewelry trade. Same business, same shop and same style, for many years, perhaps!
