The Mogosoaia Palace, a photo from Ilfov, East

Photographer's Note

Another photo of the April 2007 meeting of the Romanian TE members, meeting that took place at Mogosoaia, a commune in the west of Ilfov county, not far from Bucharest. There it is the interior of the Mogosoaia Palace, a beautiful monument, built by Constantin Brancoveanu.
In the FG, on the left, you can see Teo.

I think this is a great shot. IT's the only shot that grabbed my attention on this side of the site, due to it's soft touch. The problem I find with it is the same that I have with many of my shots. They are simply not suitable for this site. This site is about sharing shots of the world and I think this one is rather lacking the cultural aspect of a particular place. Either way I love it. Great work.

The soft texture of this image is very pleasant. The colours are very well saturated and the people in the frame add life to the shot. Very interesting perspectie of this room and good balance of light and elements. Thanks friend :-)

Hi Andreea, An unusual looking photo, it looks a little surreal, however the colours are strong &, the black & white flooring contrasts nicely, I like it as you are taking a picture of, a girl taking a picture of, a man looking at a picture, superb & well framed, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

You have captured the light here very well here, so the room appears very light, with interesting details coloured in bright red. The floor makes a nice detail in this simple interior.

An excellent and almost surreal feeling. Both colours and details fit very well together. That is it a little bit unsharp is advantage here and adds an extra dimension. A supberb photojob!

Andreea, on se croirait devant un tableau de Vermeer de Delft avec la lumière et les carreaux du sol. J'aime cette atmosphère d'intérieur délicate. Les rares couleurs prennent beaucoup d'importance.
