Architectural complex of Ananuri is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti district of Georgia, on the way to ski resort Gudauri.
The complex was built by the local dukes (Georgian – Eristavi) in 16-17 centuries

I recognize this place and beautiful old church, which I visited recently. It makes me so sad to hear about the war in the neighbourhood. Very good photo!
