| The major reward for climbing to the North Fort is this view of the 7th century Mallegitti Shivalaya Temple. It is perched on what has been referred to as a "large boulder" and sits there like a jewel in Badami's crown. It is designed in the early Dravida manner, and there are sculpted panels of Vishnu and Shiva. The porch is small and the vimana narrow. |

Good pic no doubt but the santity of the photo is ruined by the buildings in the background :(
