I've posted a few recent B&W photos on TE; it is always enjoyable to see how other photographers manage the situation to promote a certain mood. Here I think you did it to highlight to cold, unpleasant presence of the structure decaying in the grayness, while the plants reclaim the site. The small black frame is effective and boosting the darker sections. The clarity and sharpness are both pretty good, although could be further defined on the structure itself. Interesting photo Mike.

it depence how you look at it. I like it very much. maybe I would stand in the middle of the field so you would have the building in even position. The foreground plays the picture well. Great job

Mike, this is a better shot for me. The low PoV emphasizes the way nature is reclaiming the factory whilst the composition gives the right amount of prominence to the building itself (it is after all the subject.
