[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture during a trip in Myanmar, we were riding a boat along the river when a tropical storm began. We all waited inside the little wooden boat for the storm to end. Outside a group of local kids were playing along the river bank in the rain. They were all playing and joking with the foreigners on the boat, the atmosphere was great.
The smile on the girl is very spontaneous, I realized that she smiled at the camera only after I developed the film.

Well done!
It's a bit of a pitty that shot isn't more clear & sharp because you caught a beautiful moment...

great capture. The whole scene looks very spontaneous; a group of people having fun in the rain. Maybe the image is a little bit grainy and the colours a tad more vivid but who cares. Its simply a very sweet scene.

Excellent capture and composition is great. The quality of the film hurts the picture but as Joost said "who cares?"

Wow, what a great smile. I also like very much the expressions of the others in the shot, and I like how they are outside of the DOF, but still clear enough. I also like the feeling of what appears to be film grain in the shot.
I think when you posted this, you made a mistake in the camera you chose, as I don't see how you could have used a Canon lens on a Nikon all in one digital camera.

a very big smile on this photo!
it's lovely but It would be even more in b&w..

What a great spontaneous scene you captured! The expressions along with the different attire makes for a fascinating image. Thanks for the background story.

Yes, I do agree. That's a fantastic moment you captured there. The shot is full of good mood and I love the atmosphere.

The grainy add a photojournalist touch. In the very action. Don't you think ?

simply great! so natural!
