Photographer’s Note

Francis Xavier was a Portuguese Catholic missionary who was responsible for the spread of the faith to the Southeast Asia and the Far East.

Beside the church's ruin on top of St. Paul's stands a marble statue of him. His glory however has now to be shared with another means of propagating 'beliefs' -- the telecommunication tower.

Nevertheless, in the era of cellular network and the Internet, Mr. Xavier remains to be a towering figure.
