Photographer’s Note
Hi all,
the third in my Mongolian series. During the mini Nadaam festival that was held (see Mongolian Horse Rider photo) they performed a wrestling competition. Mongolian Wrestling is particularly hardcore and seems to be no holds barred in order to win. Once the bout is over the loser has to perform a dance where he "flies like an eagle" under the arms of the victor.
This shot is mid tournament and I thought provides a nice insight into the sport as well as showing off the location it was held in.
Hope you like it and let me know if you think I could have improved it.
Cheers
Chris

Hello Chris,
It is a well balanced photograph; there is little that would make it any better I think except possibly for a slight increase in contrast and brightness. There appears to be plenty of activity going on for an empty and seemingly isolated location. Your photos are often accentuated by the great focus on the sky and clouds (such as your QLD/NT border photo and the Statue of Liberty), which is now one of your signature photographic traits alongside your faming. It is very effective. Excellent cultural significance here, I bet you enjoyed the refreshing pace of life and simplicity here.
Matt
