Photographer’s Note
It is usual to find these display windows in some southern Chilenian towns. I think Banana is something very interesting for them cause they don't produce that fruit and it is considerated like a tropical symbol. Then it is interesting for me the way they put the bananas, hanging them in the display window. We can see other interesting things here like portraits people hunted by police. I should have preserved the name of the store but I forgot this detail cause I was so interested in the "show"..

Hey Jorge,
Nice shot of this street scene. I agree that you should have included the name of the store, but also, I think you could have cropped the photo a bit closer. I did a workshop to show what I mean. As I cropped it quite close, I re-sized it to make it larger, and hence lost a lot of quality.
Hope you don't mind

Greetings Jorge,
I like this photo; it portrays a relaxed atmosphere and slow pace of life. I would have aimed to include the signage above the window in the frame, but you probably wanted the emphasis to fall on the window rather than he sign. That’s alright, in that instance I would have cut it out completely. I like the complimentary tones of cream, blue and green of the wall paint. The various fruits are attractive and seem to have caught the eye of the passer-by. I may have decided upon a thin black line around the photo to separate it from the frame. A good piece nevertheless. TFS!

Jorge: In a perfect world I would have shot straight in front of your subjects and kept the horizon (the signage) straight. Otherwise, the composition, ambience, and color scheme are quite nice. regards, c

Hi Jorge,
A funny story about the shop, not only the banana, I think also the method to put the brooms at the entrance, thanks for sharing.

Ola Jorge,
The shop-keeper has put out a very attractive display and you have continued the harmony by balancing the brooms with the windo-shopper. You're right, it would have been cool to include the sign but it is still very nice.

I collect markets, so I've added your to my collection; I hope that is okay.

Hello Jorge
A colourful street scene. It is good that you captured the man with a walking stick in stride - just a pity as you say that you didn't include all of the sign. Perhaps it may have been better to crop out the bottom of the sign. Anyway tfs, Marlene
