Feeding the buffalo in Tanah Toraja Photo

Photographer’s Note

THe buffalos are the biggest wealth in Tanah Toraja in Sulawesi. The locals really take care about them. They wash them and even feed them every day with their hands. They say that buffalo is too lazy to eat enough to be big and strong. In the end they sacrifice the buffalo during funeral ceremony.
The owner of this buffalo is feeding its precious.

This is a very interesting photo which is enhanced by the tight cropping obntothe owner and his animal, and you have taken the shot at the ideal time....as he is putting the straw into it's mouth. Well done.
