Photographer’s Note

This is a pictue of the Fernie courthouse. The town of Fernie was devestated by forest fires in the early 1900's, so most of the buildings were built with bricks after. It makes for some interesting architecture. The interior of the courthouse is worth checking out if you like classic woodwork.

Hi JY,
This looks as a nice building with some beautiful view to the nearby mountains. Thanks to good wetaher, the colours appear brigth and natural, with a lovely touch of warm autumn colours in the foliage.
However I have some remarks: the image is a bit leaning to the left, and perhaps another crop could be a good idea. I did a WS to fix that, and hope you'll like it.

Wonderfully vibrant colours along with good exposure. Retention of the cloud detail has been critical to the shot I think.
There are a couple of problem areas. First the whole building is tilted to the left. Second, for me, the roadway in the foreground adds nothing. I think the image would be improved by cropping the road out up to the curb.

Les pointes du bâtiment et des arbres suivent le "design" des montagnes, c'est intéressant. Très belles couleurs d'automne, la luminosité est très agréable.

Nice photo of the structure. Lighting is good showing off the building's colors. The background also contributes with its vibrant autumn colors.
