[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Close to the new Victoria Waterfront development lies the Customs Building. It was on a quiet Sunday that I stumbled upo this scene, which reminds me of a Mondrain painting. The light was pretty low and I didn't have a tripod with me, so the exposure at medium zoom (around 200mm) was tricky handheld, but I managed to pull it off first time round!

PP consists of adjusted Levels and 50% USM.

Hi Ray,

Geometric patterns abound. Nice combination of rich colors, with just the right dash of yellow. Good steady hands. Are you related to Charlize Theron?

Best regards,
Lamberto

Hi Ray,
Great photo! I really like how it has that abstract look about it and the variety of colours is excellent. Superb lines, geometry and depth. Very well seen and captured!

Hi Ray,
An interesting abstract shot, It does indeed look like a Mondrian painting. I like the light just at the end, and the contrasting colours.

Great contrasts in colour seen in this one Ray. Along with this you have some nice subtleties in your lighting back to the bright red at the back. Well seen and captured on your part (steady hands).

Thanks, John

Hi Ray,
the colors of your photo are so vivid! I like the reflections in the upper part of the frame as well. The rectangular geometry and the narrow POV make this photo very pleasing.

very nice shot, I like a lot the perspective your point of view creates, many repeating patterns and the opposing blue and green, they form a captivating symmetry. very well seen and presented.

Hi!
You have a colorful and fine gallery, but I really miss some power pylons there? Hehe..
This picture is a lovely collection of colors, and I like the way you have arranged all the vertical and horizontal lines here.
Regards,
Jon

Ah, well seen! It is so easy to miss abstract compositions like this that we probably all walk past every day. Looks like a technically challenging shot, too. Well done.

One of your very good abstracts again! I Like the colours and lines and how the red adds DOF to the image.

Groete!

Wia
