[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Oceans, rivers and... trees. Yes, that's my loving triad. At least when I am talking about nature landscape photography. ;)
Trees have a character of their own. They are incredible lively beings. The way they spread their arms so gracefully never ceases to amaze me. I could well spend the rest of my life just photographing trees.
This one was photographed during the last golden rays of 2007. The Boquilobo marshes were still dry and gave me the chance of walking around a place that will be flooded in the next months.
Dedicated to André who needs some special care in this though morning. ;)

You have composed such a beautiful poetry with your camera here. its beautiful and vivid and so full of life. i like the way you have balanced the shot, your pov is superb and the colours are so enchanting

Hello Luis,
I totaly agree with your note; trees are a beautiful subject and a great chance to compose beautiful picture..like this one. The excellent lighting did allows you to create a simple but very effective and delicate compo with soft tones and colours. Quality is excellent throughout!
Thanks for sharing this and congrats for the beautiful gallery!

Igor

Hi Luis,
Just a tree, but in front of your lens something extra is created. The tree it self is wonderful with his branches spead out all the way. You caught some very good light here which shines in all his glory on the tree and the polarizer was a great help to produce this one for a deeper sky and higher impact...i like it.
Regards, Henk

LOL!!! I already feel better...

I would like to offer you just one point for this one, and told you that you could have done better than a centered composition, but I wouldn't be honest...

This is a very artistic shot, a simple but poetic image, minimalist in its essence but perfectly executed. The light is key here and allows the tree to appear in its best luminance, in front of polarized sky. A lot of contrasted details enrich this two tones image. Here they are, your well deserved two points... Gggrrr! :-P)

Cheers!

Hi,Luis,
I can understand, trees are always fascinating decorative elements in parks and we are always happt to sit in their shade on a hot summer day.
A nice catch of this tree.

Hi Luis,
Bare trees are not an easy subject. But golden light of the setting sun has made this attractive. I like the wide appearance spreading across the frame. And polarized background showing brightest behind the tree. Personally I'd prefer this with sparkling frost or drifting snow, but there's not much chances for that over there!
Will there be calendar for 2008?

Bonjour, Luis.

La lumière et les couleurs sont divines mais le format mais semble un peu petit ou bien c'est une impression...

Amicalement, Grazyna.

Talking about 'master' hi master Luis, and all my wishes for you for this new year, wish you the best photographically saying, wish you to keep on improving and looking for into your mind for the best compos :)
I feared a little some weeks ago when you were about to leave TE, but then bing bang boung you posted terrific pictures after terrific pictures ... You are one of the biggest reservoir of gold here.
Talking about that tree, hhmm this is more than a tree, now since two years i'm on TE and watching lot of pictures i get used and bored to see trees but yours has something really really special
I have the same at home : my bonsai .... that's perhaps why i love this picture so much ... reminds me my bonsai which is about to die as each year at winter season.
Marvelous colors

colors,blow....fairy tale view.well done again my friend
beautiful composition
best regards,anes

A tree on its own...
Own colors, own dignity, own aesthetics, own loneliness, own liveliness...
And one day a photographer makes it famous. Just one second is enough to share...It seems that the tree is already aware of its own beauty...

A very autumn feeling through this one, just great how the golden branches cut their way through the slightly polarised sky.
