[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken down one of the side streets in Pushkar during the camel fair. I walked by this chap twice (with at least an hour in between) and he was still sitting in the same position. What I want to know is... how can Indians squat in this position without getting cramp in less than 5 minutes??????

T: not unlike the post, I just put up. I tried a little sharpening in a WS, but not sure.... I must have run across you there unkowingly at some point. Nice composition here. regards, c

tracy,
nice capture with good color and details. extra pair of shoes in the composition adds some more life in this shot.
to answer your question:most indians(in the villages) are not used to having tables and chairs and thus get used to squat on the floor. there are more reasons behind this but that's another story.

Hi Tracey,
Captured nicely the sitting man in front of the tasteful texture of the wall and door.
It might be better to brighten his face with good expression a little. Still definitely a successful shot.
Best wishes, Hisashi
