Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken on a very hot day in Kruger Park, as a result the light was harsh and all wrong, so contrast was increased a bit and the brilliance taken down a notch. These two Zebra was suppose to be grooming each other, but like I already mentioned, very hot so they decided to rather rest. They love grooming and nibbling one another, it increases blood flow and family bonding.

Hi Corné, this is an excellent shot. Victor Vasarely used this moment to paint, one of his best, maybe the only one ;o)
Very good composition also.

I like zebras and their graphic lines. amd where there are a few of them in the same photo, it's a festival of gravity. Beautiful. Added to my zebra theme.

Excellent - the photographer's art here was in selecting the moment to pounce on! The harsh light exaggerates the zebras'contrast - the only way this photo could be better is if the nose of the animal on the right was in focus. (Maybe this is just an artifact of reducing to 800 X 600?)
