Hi Chuck!
I grew up under a communist regime, in Romania, and at that time we were seeing various propaganda documentaries depicting this sort of contrast encountered in the capitalist countries. We were making fun of those shows a few years later when the regime was overthrown, but nowadays, I can see Romanians doing as bad if not worse than what we laughing at in the early nineties as being just another lie the communists fed us. Many, very many people are suffering, are living a really hard life in a country where you can see luxurious cars running by you anytime anywhere. A minority of rich people and a small "middle class" bring to life those terrifying images from the TV shows of the past by contrast with people who have no idea if their going to have a piece of bread on the table for dinner. Fortunately such extreme poverty is not very wide spread but the contrast definitely appears more acute with every year passing by.
Nice capture!
TFS

Hi Chuck,
A strong shot: the humble man and the powerful cars.
-
Unfortunatelly this scene can be seen everywhere, both in a great city of Europe or in America's Finest City.

About the 2 hrs of 1 mph, my suggestion is: next time go on foot (using the SD Trolley or bus to San Ysidro checkpoint), or ride a bicycle. That's what I did the two times I went there, from SD.

You've got a typo error: an extra 'n' in the title.
Greetings,
