Je vois qu'on sait s'amuser et prendre du bon temps au lointain Quebec, surtout et a plus forte raison quand la neige tombe a gros flocons, plein d'energie positive en rayonne.

La neige qui tombe et le noir et blanc font trés bon menage:on ne voit les flocons que sur ce couple si joyeux,l'effet et sympa...et quel eclat de rire!tu as declenché au juste moment,bravo!

Je ne peux pas résister devant une scène dans la neige !!!
Cela me rappelle trop mes jeux d'enfants, surtout que le couple sur la photo a l'air de revenir dans l'enfance.
Un excellent moment de joie, bien capté et bien présenté, j'adore.
Et je suis contente de te voir à nouveau sur TE, cela faisait une éternité...

Hi Claire, Happy New Year! I think you should be careful with shots like this--you never know when the subjects might turn aggressive. Snow is lying all around, and it takes only seconds for one of them to reach down, scoop some up, pack it, and propel it terrifyingly in your direction. The consequences are simply too horrible to contemplate...

But your heedless risk-taking has brought us a great shot. The people are caught as if the shutter speed were fast, but the snow is blurred by motion. Just the right balance. And there's sure joy and fun in their faces and body language! Really a great shot for the new year. Regards, Ken.

Let me guess, this is you and Andre who are making the best of this cold Montreal winter? ;-)
A cold, but warm image because of the big smile of the woman. she has lots of fun, must be in love. I like the slow shutter here to put accent on the snow what runs through the image. Nice detail is the sign Montreal...i like such details.

Salut Claire! This is one of the nicest winter "plays" I have seen and it makes the snow melt away and brings back spring and love into our living rooms. I can hear laughter, and this is what makes this picture unique to me. I can feeeeeeeeel something, I dance along, just a little. What a smile above! Wonderful. Happy New Year! Barbara.

je ne sais pas comment tu as traité cette photo mais c'est génial! Quelle belle texture et puis quel moment de joie, en toute simplicité, tout y est, le sourire, le mouvement, les gros flocons et même la plaque qui indique Montréal, bravo.

Tu publies tes photos trop vite, je n'arrive pas à suivre....:-))))
Oui, comme tu le mentionnes je suis assez occupé ces temps ci, et je dois avouer ressentir une certaine lassitude de TE, comme une obligation qui gruge trop de ce temps précieux. Alors, du coup, je fait des hits and run, passant plus de temps dehors à jouer dans la neige avec ou sans appareil photo.

Tu as su prendre un autre instantané de la vie,bien remplis de joie, de plaisir et de bonheur, pour nous souhaiter la bonne année.
Ta photo respire la VIE. elle illumine la grisaille de nos jours nuageux et fait éclater les nuages.

Je ferai suivre ce que je t'ai promis éventuellement, je suis encore retourné à Valleyfield ce soir sur la bande du canal, on croirait entendre chanter Ferland....

Je suis en vacance depuis le 29 ad 14 janvier.
Projet, jouer dans la neige, dont une semaine au Mont-Mégantic.

Well Claire. I'm looking at this photo every day and every day I'm experiencing the same pleasure as at the very first sight. And I'm nearly sorry to write down my homage to your photographic skills here as it means I'll be no more that frequent visitor here ;)). What I do like in the story up there is a memory of the most joyous and care-free moments of my youth. Would be nice to meet some of them again in ones heart...

hahaha, you sure had a great fun with these guys, Calire. And also kept the best one for last to celebrate the New Year. My big laugh of the day just came out with this picture. She's fantastic and adorable. I like the fact that you enhanced the contrasts so we can see well her body covered with the drops of snow. I would be him trying to deal with the dancing situation, but I promised my wife I would try to make her happy and join her on dancing classes this year.

Bonsoir Claire! Je ne suis pas un amateur du temps d'hiver mais avec ta photo je me reconcilie avec la neige. Il y a quelque chose de frais, de jeune, de doux et de tres plaisant dans la maniere que tu presente la neige dans tes images. Cette photo dynamique pleine de joie me fait pense que tu ris comme la fille le fait, plein d'energie et de bonne humeur. J'espere que cette annee va t'emmener de la joie et de beaux moments comme cette photo.

Playful, I like it. When I saw it small I thought that there was a guy stabbing some cute girl. Then I was disappointed, but I still think that the snow features in a great way in the shot.

Chère Claire, j'arrive terriblement en retard pour cette version montréalaise, "dancing in the snow"... C'était le 1er jour de cette année-ci, depuis il y en a eu 8 autres... Trop peu malheureusement et je ne suis pas la seule à désirer que la série s'allonge bien plus !

J'adore le grand éclat de rire de la jeune femme en mini jupe, s'il fait froid autant bouger et swinger, même si la neige tombe dru ! Tu écris qu'ils dansent mais il a aussi l'air de vouloir l'attraper ce qui rend le tout très ludique et comique, j'aime énormément - comme tellement d'autres photos, beaucoup d'autres à propos desquelles je n'ai pas encore écrit mon enthousiasme...

Quele dynamisme et quel sens de l'humour !
