[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This women is a member of a village self help group. I took this photo on a village survey trip under available light. The shot was not posed, but taken as we were sitting around waiting for the meeting to start. I got fortunate on the lighting as the meeting was held in a house still under construction and one of the walls was still incomplete giving a very broad light source.

Very nice, a great captured expression and a lot of history written on the face.

Nice portrait Frank! Her expression is particularly special. She does not seem sad but in same time, she does not seem happy. The light on the face is just perfect.

Well presented portrait Frank. Good composition and skillfully illuminated. Maybe, just maybe, a PP application of an unsharp filter enhances the result?

Good luck with your future postings - I will look forward to seeing them in due course.

Regards,

Vic

Very nice, relaxed capture. The colors are also very good.

She is beautiful isn't she? She has very expressive and beautiful eyes along with a very kind face. I think you took this picture at the right time! Composition, coloring and framing are very nice.

This is a wonderful portrait Frank. Her expression is so full of feeling and generosity. It's a pity it's not sharper but I can understand that you were taking the shot under available light, in the moment. Great portrait though.

This is lovely Frank. I'll extend a welcome since I haven't encountered your work before.

The lighting is very intimate, as is the gaze of this lovely woman. Depth of field is nicely controlled and the dark background allows us to appreciate the colors of her dress and head scarf and details of her face. This is first rate work. I hope you have more such images to share with us.

Excellent portrait with saturated colours combined with very low brightness. The darkened background helps us to concentrate on the woman's face and its details. I love it, full of life.

Très beau portrait, l'image est belle et le sujet magnifique. Ciao/jr

very nice window lighting, just like using extra large light box :-) Pitty, the depth of field were very tight. Keep shooting pak Frank, i love to see your work :-) salam.

Excellent portrait - nice tight cropping, I like the lighting but wish the glare in her right eye was dimmed a bit. Very good shot
