You have captured perfectly the darkness and the whole atmosphere of the forest. I like the textures, the soft tones and the framing, too.

Forest is written with one 'f', but that aside :)
For the rest a great PHopp, POV and LICO ( Lightning Conditions), only too bad i cannot put my version of this one on TE anymore , thanks for that !

Hallo Perry!
A great photo with a very special atmosphere which I like very much! This view out of the forest truly is fascinating and caused by the point of view the depth is incredible here. Reading "Botrange" I have wonderful holiday memories of Hohes Venn, or Fagnes. Let's have a cappuccino in Baraque Michel! ;-)

cette composition est très réussie : j'aime cette ambiance, et le petit sentier imaginaire qui se forme entre la première et la deuxième rangée d'arbres
il y a aussi un beau contraste entre la lumiére extérieure et celle de la forêt
d'autre part les couleurs plutôt froides évoquent bien l'hiver
