Piazetta San Marco is the name of the square between the Duke´s Palace (on the left side of the photo) and the library (on the right side). The two columns show the lion of San Marco and another saint, Santodoro, with a crocodile. The ship model is the replica of a boat once used every year for a special event in the Middle Ages. In the background, there is the lagoon.

Hi Gisi!
this picture is a little too dark.
I don't understand what did you mean shooting at this view, it is quite usual. Perhaps you composed it putting the lamp in the middle of the imagine. The only nteresting subject would be perhaps the sail far in the channel.
I made a WS trying to increase quality and to discover if there is something interesting hidden in the dark
